The Harvard Macy Institute educates, connects, and serves health care leaders around the globe by providing advanced faculty development programs, thought leadership, and impactful networking opportunities. Programs offered throughout the year in a variety of lengths and formats are designed to accelerate the careers and institutional projects of educators, administrators, and clinicians in the health professions.

Courses cover a wide range of topics, including educational leadership, approaches to innovation in health care and education, systems-based assessment, and transforming teaching using technology. Programs take place at Harvard Medical School or are offered virtually. The teaching faculty is comprised of experts from Harvard Medical School, its hospital affiliates, Harvard University, and academic institutions worldwide. This dedicated team fosters an inspiring interprofessional, international, and interdisciplinary learning environment.

Interactive small group discussions, case-based teaching, project-focused work, and the practical application of frameworks are core features of Harvard Macy Institute courses. These collaborative learning experiences prepare individuals to lead institutional change, discover and harness new perspectives to enhance their personal and professional growth, and cultivate an invaluable network for developing partnerships, inspiration, and mentorship.
