With the pace of digital transformation accelerating, health professions educators are challenged to adapt and respond to an ever-evolving landscape of teaching and learning. This innovative eight-week online course empowers educators to effectively integrate emerging technologies — including generative AI — into their educational practice, leadership, and program development. Immersive and hands-on, the program provides participants with practical tools and strategies for enhancing teaching, assessment, active learning, curricular design, and collaboration across diverse educational settings.

About the Program
Grounded in the science of education and driven by real-world application, the curriculum enables participants to reimagine their teaching and leadership within technology-enriched environments. Participants learn to design impactful, evidence-based learning experiences for all levels of health professions education learners by integrating generative AI, innovative digital tools, and universal design principles that foster accessibility and engagement. Through hands-on practice—including custom GPT design, video editing, infographic development, and microteaching—educators build skills in curriculum design, feedback, assessment, project management, and digital scholarship. The program culminates in a personalized technology toolbox, empowering continued growth as a transformative educator and leader.
Program Format
Delivered over eight immersive weeks on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (EST), the course features hands-on learning through large and small group sessions, personalized consultation, and practical experience in designing and implementing new educational approaches.
