About
Dr. Christie Fritz is an Attending Physician, both as EMS and emergency medicine faculty at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and after completed her emergency medicine residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, also being chosen as Chief Resident during her final year. She also completed her fellowship in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She is ABEM board certified in EMS and Emergency Medicine. She is the Medical Director of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center EMS, Medical Director at Cataldo Education Center as well as Associate EMS Fellowship Director at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and EMS Rotation Director. She also continues to serve as Assistant Program Director for the emergency medicine residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Her research interests include protocol development/standardization in EMS and medical education, and has published research and been active on several national committees to optimize prehospital patient care.
