Overview

The Surgical Pathology Update is an intensive 3 course designed for practicing pathologists, trainees, and academic faculty seeking to enhance diagnostic accuracy and remain current with evolving concepts in surgical pathology. Taught by a distinguished faculty of internationally recognized experts, this course provides a comprehensive review of new terminology, evolving classifications, diagnostic pitfalls, and challenging cases across major organ systems. The course is accredited by Harvard Medical School.

Through a combination of didactic lectures, interactive case discussions, and optional slide seminars, participants will gain practical insights into current best practices, consensus recommendations, and areas of diagnostic controversy. Emphasis will be placed on updates in WHO classification, molecular correlates, and clinicopathologic integration, as well as on strategies for navigating difficult or ambiguous cases commonly encountered in daily practice. 

Participants will leave the course with an enriched understanding of diagnostic nuances, refined interpretive skills, and an updated framework for applying modern pathology concepts to patient care.
