About
Dr. Moore is a Professor in the RNA Therapeutics Institutes at the UMass Chan Medical School, Worcester, where she also holds the Eleanor Eustis Farrington Chair for Cancer Research as a Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology. She received her B.S. degree in chemistry and biology from the College of William and Mary and her Ph.D. degree in biological chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She began working on RNA metabolism during her postdoctoral training with Phillip Sharp at MIT. Dr. Moore's honors include a Searle Scholars Award, a David and Lucile Packard fellowship, and the 2011 ASBMB William C. Rose Award.
