Anesthesiology Update Hands-on Evening Workshop
Regional Anesthesia Workshop

This special hands-on workshop provides an opportunity to work in very small groups with leading Harvard Medical School clinical faculty to:
- Explore and gain experience with current ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia techniques
- Practice ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks and vascular access
- Add new block techniques to your repertoire
- Increase your proficiency in reproducing common ultrasound windows on your patients
- Improve your hand-eye needling coordination
The workshop will include six stations, each staffed by two faculty members and supported by one live model per station:
- Upper Extremity UGRA
- Lower Extremity UGRA
- Anterior Truncal UGRA (model in supine position)
- Posterior Truncal UGRA (model in prone position)
- Common Pediatric UGRA
- Ultrasound-Guided Vascular Assessment
- Ultrasound-Guided Airway Blocks
Of special note:
- This workshop is designed for both advanced and novice practitioners
- To optimize the value of this workshop for each participant, registration is limited to 50
- The format includes both advanced and basic learning stations
- Dinner will be provided to participants
