Dr. Andrea Wershof Schwartz is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, where she leads the Medical Education course and the Geriatrics curriculum for medical students. Dr. Schwartz is a geriatrician at VA Boston Healthcare System where she serves as Associate Director for Clinical Innovation in the New England Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Center (GRECC), and as a national leader in the Age-Friendly Health Systems initiative. Dr. Schwartz has received numerous recognitions, including the American Geriatrics Society Outstanding Clinician Educator award, the HMS Outstanding Faculty Mentor Award, and the VA Boston Excellence in Education Award.
