About

Aditya Mohanty is a general internist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and an instructor in medicine at Harvard Medical School (HMS). At BIDMC, he serves as Associate Director of Point-of-Care Ultrasound Education for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. At HMS, he serves as Site Director for the Physical Diagnosis and Clinical Reasoning Course, executive board member for the Practice of Medicine Course, Site Director for the Hospital Medicine Capstone Course, and teaching faculty for the Crimson Care Collaborative. He also serves on the Society of Hospital Medicine Boston Chapter Advisory Board.

Aditya completed a fellowship in Global Health at BIDMC and Scottish Livingstone Hospital in Botswana, and is currently completing the Rabkin Fellowship in Medical Education at the Shapiro Institute for Education and Research. His research focuses on bedside procedures and point-of-care ultrasound education. He continues to work on academic projects with the Botswana Harvard Partnership in Botswana and serves as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Global Health Equity in Rwanda.
